Biography

As a Padawan, Amersu joined her master and his friend Peerce on a hunt for Aurra Sing on Coruscant. She watched as Aurra slew her master, but was left alive by the bounty hunter, so that she could become a strong and powerful challenge for Aurra later down the line.

As a Jedi Knight and General, she led her first battle in the Clone Wars shortly after Aayla Secura captured Aurra Sing on Devaron. Aayla retrieved J'Mikel's stolen lightsaber from Aurra and returned it to Xiaan shortly before that battle.

Later, Amersu participated in the Battle of Saleucami, where she and several other Jedi including Secura, Quinlan Vos, and Tholme had to contain a Morgukai clone army created by the Separatists. It was here that they first discovered signs of her close relationship with the Tusken Jedi, A'Sharad Hett. During the conflict's final skirmish, Xiaan Amersu sacrificed herself in a successful attempt to destroy a Confederacy planetary gun. Her death proved vital to the the Republic's victory. It was as her damaged starfighter fell that Hett helped Xiaan peacefully give herself to the Force.
