Affinities to Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Water vary with each Wraith. |
Wraith is an enemy in Final Fantasy X. It is found inside Sin and at the Omega Ruins. Its elemental weakness and resistance change from battle to battle. It starts the fight by casting Doom, and if no one is doomed on its turn, it may cast Death. It is one of the only enemies from which Kimahri can learn a Ronso Rage.
It drops weapons with Strength+5% and Strength+10%, and armor with Magic Def+10% and No Encounters.
Strategy
Using a Aeon when fighting against one or multiple Wraith is good choice because Aeons are immune to both Doom and Death and you should pick one like Shiva or Ifrit that can heal themselves. Usually it is a easy but long fight as you may need to physically attack them to bring them down, or, if you are lucky, using the Aeon's magic that is most effective against the Wraith target.
