Woostroid statues were one of the pieces of artwork that Grand Admiral Thrawn studied before his attack on Woostri. Even the insane cloned Jedi Master Joruus C'baoth was interested in one that was displayed on the Chimaera.

Behind the scenes

• In the scene in which it is introduced, Thrawn is looking at a "putrid-looking alien artwork [display]..." and C'baoth at the Woostroid statue. Some fans have referred to the latter by the former description, but it is actually unknown if they were intended to be one and the same. Whatever was putrid-looking might have been another Woosti creation, not the statue.
