Trivia

  • The Woodcutting skillcape has the second longest emote time in the game, with a time of almost 10 seconds. The skillcape with the longest emote time in the game is Cooking.
  • When performing the emote, a bird's nest can be seen and the bird will fly onto the player's hatchet when the player steps on the nest.
  • When performed, the player uses a silver axe with a curved handle, which is different from other in-game hatchets and not obtainable.
  • Before the release of the Advisors and Objectives update, the owner of the Woodcutting skillcape, Wilfred, could be found in Lumbridge. However, since the update he has been moved to the Trees just north of Falador and is no longer the Woodcutting tutor.
  • With the introduction of Ivy and the Sawmill, Woodcutting has been considered an easier skill than before, and as such level 99 in it is easier to attain. As a result, the cape has been rising in popularity.
