William Brandice is a man whose corpse is found in the Marigold Metro Station in the year 2277. William Brandice's Key is found on his body. It would appear that William Brandice was hunting ants in the metro, given the amount of Ant Nectar and Ant Meat that is found on this person.

On 10/02/2276 Brandice arrived in Grayditch with his family after crossing the country to from Navarro to get there. On 10/30/2276 He became concerned after scavenging a radio and hearing the Enclave broadcast that John Henry Eden recorded. On 11/15/2276 Lesko moved to Graydtich and offered Brandice caps to help build his shed, but refused. On 2/24/2277 He traveled to Megaton to buy a better gun because of the Giant ants becoming more aggressive.
Brandice's body contains a medical outfit, in keeping with his back story as a doctor. His paranoia concerning the Enclave looking for him, his mentioning his "old sidearm" in his computer logs, and being found with a laser pistol on his corpse lends evidence that he may be a deserter from the organization. Also, if you ask Bryan Wilks about the Brandice family when you first encounter him, he will mention William Brandice having once been a soldier, and then he decided to quit.
His son was Will and he was friends with the Wilks family as well as Frank and Sheila.
