Welcome Home, Big Bird is a storybook based on Follow That Bird.

Plot

After being gone for two weeks, the cast gets a postcard from Big Bird, informing them that he's coming home this afternoon. Forgetful Jones suggests that they plan a welcome home party for Big Bird. However, Big Bird comes home early, sees his friends (who don't notice that Big Bird is back) planning a party, and thinks it is for a new bird on the street, feeling that they have forgotten about him.
