Contents

Bestiary Entry

Derivation: Shadonir

Shadonir of exceptional violence, and the last discovery of the famed naturalist Lord Viktor. Hunted in the Nam-Yensa Sandsea.

Requirements

There is a 40% chance that Victanir will appear in the southwest portion of the Yellow Sands portion of the Nam-Yensa Sandsea. Victanir will be almost invisible (almost like a ghost figure), so the player will not be able to see it until they are close to it. Once they run into Victanir, it will become visible.

Battle

The easiest source of Empyreal Souls, an ingredient for the Tournesol, is to steal Wargod's Bands from Victanir to sell to the Bazaar. Flee through Zertinan Caverns two screens, return, and steal again. You need two Wargod's Bands to make one Empyreal Soul appear in the Bazaar. So in total you need to steal six Wargod's Bands to get the three Empyreal Souls you need for the Tournesol.
