The Valkyrie are a intelligent parasitic race, evolved on a world far rimward of the Aslan Hierate and the Solomani Sphere. They dominate and control the mind and body of their host, their alien influence killing their host within a few years.

The Valkyries are a group of anime-only cards used by Zigfried von Schroeder. They are identified by having Walkure (ワルキューレ), the German word for "Valkyrie" in their Japanese names. The concept of the Valkyries is derived from Norse mythology. Like most of Zigfried's cards the Valkyries are named after characters from the opera, Der Ring des Nibelungen.
Valkyrie card's effects slightly vary, but usually revolve around Special Summoning the Valkyries, removing apposing monsters and increasing their ATK.
The cards "Element Valkyrie" and "Cyber Valkyrie" are not considered Valkyrie cards since they don't have 「ワルキューレ」 in their Japanese names.
In the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX dub, "Valkyrie Dritte" can be seen in T-Bone's hand. Different cards are shown in the original (Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX) version.

The Valkyrie cards are a series of exclusively female Warrior-Type LIGHT monsters, many of which are named after notable Valkyries and draw heavily upon other elements of Norse Mythology. They are used by Marren Hunter in Saiba Aisu's Yu-Gi-Oh Fan Fic, Days of the Black Apple.
Many of the Valkyries have well-varied and useful effects that activate by switching their battle positions or decreasing their DEF by varying amounts. This versatile style of play lends the Valkyrie Deck unexpected and explosive power with even the most simple of moves. In appearance, each of the Valkyries wears a differently colored set of armor with a matching winged helmet, and each of them tends to carry a distinctive and unique weapon. They are also identified by having the word "Valkyrie" (ワルキューレ) in their names. In their Japanese versions, the names of the Valkyries are hyphenated.
Due to their generally unimpressive ATK scores, the Valkyries tend to depend upon their effects and supporting cards to protect them from harm. Apart from being members of the well-supported Warrior-Type, they also have access to a wide variety of useful Monster, Spell and Trap Card effects, including cards like Valkyrie Spirit Burst, which eliminates the cost for switching a Valkyrie's battle position and destroys an opponent's face-up card, or Valkyrie Sigrdrifa, who can fetch Equip Spell Cards from the player's Deck to their hand, as well as revive a Level 4 or lower Valkyrie once per turn.

Valerie Kellum was an up-and-coming archeologist exploring Scandinavia when she discovered what she first took for an ancient spear. A more careful examination led to the realization that the spear had a technological component. She traveled around Europe looking for ideas about its origin and ended up in a local Crey facility. When a Crey security team tried to take the weapon from her it activated and injected Valerie with advanced nanites that transformed her into Valkyrie, an extraordinary warrior with a completely different personality. She broke free and traveled to Paragon City where Positron is helping her come to terms with her new identity.
