Use is an ability appearing in Final Fantasy X. Initially available to Rikku and later to the entire party, the ability enables the character to Use any of the special items present in the game not accessible via the Item command. These items are necessary for Rikku's Mix Overdrive and on their own can inflict damage, or heal and buff the party.
Most of the items usable in battle require the ability Use in order to be activated.
Some items that many players will often use (pun not intended) are: Al Bhed Potion, Twin Stars/Three Stars, the various "curtain Items", and (if available) Dark Matter.
Most Use Items are offensive or supportive in nature, with Al Bhed Potion, Healing Water, and Tetra Elemental being the only Use Items that actually recover HP (Healing Spring does not count, as since its effect is Regen, it is supportive).

Use is a function in the game interface used to interact two items or an item and an object together. It is one of the functions that every item in the game serves, although some items will not interact with anything. It is the first "left click" option for many items, and any item can be used with any other. However, most of the time, this will yield the message "Nothing interesting happens".
There is a vast plethora of uses for the 'use' function. The most common are:
Other less common uses include:
This functions was also very popular amongst the release of Item Lending, where players had to lend items by using them on players.
The use function is also very useful when trying to use or give an item with/to a NPC.
Items in Tibia can be "used" in many ways. To use an item, right click on it and select use or hold your Ctrl key while clicking on it. Some items need to be used on other things or locations. If this is the case, your mouse will become a crosshair, and the next thing or person you click is what you will use the item on.
