The Unnamed Lieutenant was a member of the UNSC Marine Corps during 2552.

During the Battle of Mombasa, he was in command of "A" Company that was trapped by the oncoming Covenant forces, primarily made up of Type-25 Wraiths, in a Mtangulizi Kampuni building in New Mombasa's Sector B. According to Corporal Perez, the Lieutenant got hit as soon as they landed in the city.^[1]

He first appeared in the Halo 2 E3 Demo, where he can be seen on a stretcher with a medical officer tending to his wounds, but he dies soon after.
