Named for the common meaning of the term "valorous", this ship was a successor to the name, after the Miranda-class USS Valorous of the 23rd century. (ST roleplay module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)

No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was selected for a ship by the Dominion Wars game developers, and is sometimes placed randomly when the ship appears.
