The USS Tucker (NCC-64748) was a Saber-class Federation starship in service in the 24th century. By the 2370s, the Tucker was assigned to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers and commanded by Captain Hilary Preston. (Star Trek: Daedalus)

In 2376, the Tucker was assigned to a task force of starships that were assigned to aid in the reconstruction of the Cardassian Union following the end of the Dominion War. ("New Frontiers...")

A few months later, the Tucker dispatched the shuttlecraft Royle with a team engineers (led by Lieutenant (J.G.) Marcus Jenson) to the Krotek Nor space station so that they could aid the Cardassian engineers working on the station. When a series of terrible "accidents" began to break out aboard, the Tucker, along with the USS Daedalus and USS Marvick, was assigned to aid in the completion of the station and investigate the series of "accidents". ("Krotek Nor")

The Tucker was named after Charles Tucker III, chief engineer of the Enterprise (NX-01) in the 2150s.
