The USS Mercedes-A (NCC-73291-A) was a Nova-class vessel commanded by Captain Rei. The ship encountered the Borg at the Mizarian homeworld in 2380, finding that a Borg cube had crashed on the planet. Rei went down to rescue the IKS Hidoken, which had fallen as well, encountering the Borg Queen and threats of assimilation. (Star Trek: Invasion 101)
