The USS Hurricane was a Federation Defiant-class escort/destroyer starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship was in active service around the 2370s decade, and was one of a number of vessels bearing this name. (TNG video games: Armada, Armada II)

This ship was a successor in the name Hurricane. The previous Ulysses-class USS Hurricane, had been in service as of the the late 23rd century. (TOS video game: Klingon Academy)

No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was selected for a destroyer by the Armada II game developers, and is sometimes placed randomly when the ship appears. The ship may be named for vessels or groups from both history and fiction, all named for common meaning of the term "hurricane", a massive storm.
