The USS Gorkon (NCC-40512) was a Excelsior-class Federation starship in service in the 24th century.

In late 2369, the Gorkon was Admiral Alynna Nechayev's flagship for the taskforce that prepared for a possible renewed Borg invasion that year. (TNG: "Descent")

Karak served on the Gorkon as the operations manager prior to his assignment to the USS Swiftfire-A in 2373. (Star Trek: Swiftfire: "Vengeance")

Background information

  • The ship is named after Chancellor Gorkon of the Klingon Empire who was a chief architect of peace between the Federation and the Klingons.
