The USS Garneau was a Federation Akira-class heavy cruiser in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century.

In late 2374, the Garneau was operating within the Bajoran Sector. (DS9 novel: Millennium: The Fall of Terok Nor)

The following year, the Garneau participated in the Raid on Devos II, which successfully destroyed a Son'a ketracel-white production facility. (Star Trek: Daedalus - War Stories)

The fictional ship was named after Marc Garneau (b. 1949), the first Canadian astronaut.
