The USS Buran (NCC-72364) was a Federation Steamrunner-class destroyer starship in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. (Star Trek: Daedalus)

The Buran was launched in 2370 and served as replacement for the Challenger-class USS Buran, which had been destroyed at the Battle of Wolf 359. In a bizarre sense of continuity, command of the Buran fell to Captain Sanjeev Patel (previously first officer of the previous Buran). Many surviving members of the previous Buran's crew also took up positions aboard the ship, including Lieutenant JG Polera, who served as science officer. ("Resistance")

During Polera's service aboard the Buran, the starship encountered a small school of Cetacea near the Marben Cluster. ("Song of the Cetacea")
