The USS Bonchune (NCC-70915) was a Nebula-class explorer in Federation service in the late 24th century.

In 2374, the Bonchune was assigned to pursue the USS Prometheus when it was hijacked by Romulan agents. (VOY episode: "Message in a Bottle")

In 2377, the Bonchune was part of the fleet that escorted the USS Voyager back to Earth when it returned from the Delta Quadrant. (VOY episode: "Endgame")

Named after Robert Bonchune, a special effects artist.

The USS Bonchune (NCC-70915) was a Nebula-class Federation Starship in service in the late 24th Century.

In 2374 the Bonchune was sent to pursue the USS Prometheus which had been hyjacked Romulans. However the Prometheus deploying its multi vector assault mode, quickly overpowering the Bonchune, and leaving it disabled. The attack resulted in the death of 52 of the Bonchune's crew and the injury of 86 more. (VOY: "Message in a Bottle", Star Trek: The Adventures of Argus: "Messages From Home")

In 2378, the Bonchune was one of a fleet of vessels that had been assembled in the Sol System in reaction to a possible Borg incursion. As a result it was one of the vessels thay escorted the USS Voyager to Earth on its return from the Delta Quadrant via the Borg Transwarp Conduit. (VOY: "Endgame")

Named for Foundation Imaging visual effect supervisor Rob Bonchune. The registry number is also his birthday (9/15/1970).
