Typhoon was an Imperial-class Star Destroyer in service before the Battle of Yavin. Between 10 BBY and 6 BBY it was captained by Alastar Wentworth. It served as the second tour of duty for then Lieutenant Anton Marcos between 8 BBY and 6 BBY. In 6 BBY, the ship was seized by mutineers, led by Executive Officer Trent Kane. Lieutenant Marcos put down the mutiny, though the captain was already dead, and attempted to return the Typhoon to an Imperial Starbase. However, pirates attacked the ship and Marcos was forced to destroy it.
