Tyffix was a male Gand Jedi Master and General during the Clone Wars.

He took Cal as his Padawan, and taught him that he could survive only by embracing the way of war. Along with Master Tyr, he was killed during the Battle of Thustra when an incoming bomb struck the Republic command center, though he saved both their Padawans by Force pushing them out of the room.
