The Toys R' Us Children's Fund is a public charity founded in 1992 and affiliated with Toys R' Us, Inc. The Fund contributes to organizations providing assistance to children in times of need, including but not limited to disaster relief and crises, as well as providing grants to children's special needs organizations.
The primary fundraising activity for the Fund is an annual, invitation only benefit which showcases the work of the Fund, and raise additional dollars for its beneficiaries.
On April 9, 2003, Elmo and Kevin Clash made an appearance at the annual benefit dinner, held at the Marriot Marquis in New York City.
