TokTz-xil-ul (or Obsidian throwing rings) are a Ranged weapon used by the TzHaar most notably the TzHaar-Xil. They cost around 375 Tokkul per throwing ring, and require level 60 Ranged to use. Due to their price going down, they are sometimes used for training due to their speed between attacks (similar to Darts) and their max hit, which is comparable to that of rune arrows. They also give +69 Range bonus. New players sometimes think of them as finger rings that give ranging stats (like the Archers ring) because they can't tell its size.

It is also interesting to note that these throwing rings are the exact equivalent of the Magic shortbow with Rune arrows, except that it's one-handed and has no special attack.

Wikipedia has an article about:
  • The Toktz-xil-ul is based on the Chakram, an edged throwing ring, particularly used by the Sikh warriors in battlefields. They would volley these towards enemies, shocking them and reducing their morale.
  • Before the updates of the Grand Exchange and the trade limit players would buy these for as much as 3k each.
  • Though the direct translation would be Obsidian-Sharp/Hunter-Ring, the correct translation would most likely be Sharp-Obsidian-Hunting-Ring, as this weapon is used by the Tzhaar-Xil who are the hunters of the Tzhaar Race.
  • The Calquat tree patch and the Harmony Isle allotment's Tool Leprechaun appears to be wielding a spiky green version of the Toktz-xil-un.
