Thundara (サンダラ, Sandara), also known as Bolt 2 or Lit 2, is the second level Lightning-elemental Black Magic spell.

Thundara, also known as LIT2 in the Famicom release and Bolt2 in the Origins release, is a level 3 Black Magic spell than can be bought in Elfheim and can be learnt by the Black Mage, Black Wizard, Red Mage, Red Wizard, and Ninja Job classes.
In the Famicom and Origins releases, it inflicts between 30 and 120 Lightning damage. In the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary Edition releases it inflicts moderate Lightning damage depending on the caster's Intelligence and costs 15 MP to cast.
Thundara causes medium Thunder damage to one or all enemies, it is a level 3 Black Magic spell it can bought in The Village of the Ancients or in Northwest Saronia or can be found in Vikings Cove. The only Jobs that can use these spells or a Black Mage, a Magus, and a Sage. Desch can also cast Thundara when he joins the party as a guest.
Bolt 2, retranslated as Thundara in the GBA release, causes medium Thunder damage to one or all enemies this spell is already known by Fusoya, Tellah, and by Rydia when she returns as an adult. Porom learns this spell at level 14. The spell costs 15 MP to cast in all versions.
The spells comes back in the sequel of Final Fantasy IV. It can be cast by Rydia, Fusoya, Golbez, Palom, Black Mage, and Leonora. It costs 15 MP to cast.
Bolt 2, retranslated as Thundara in the GBA release, causes medium Thunder damage to one or all enemies and it is a level 3 Black Magic spell. Only Black Mages can use this magic and can Be bought in Karnak or Crescent for 600 gil. There is also a Mystic Knight ability which allows the character to attack with the power of Thundara in the sword. Thundara costs 10 MP to cast.
Bolt2 is retranslated as Thundara in the GBA release. The spell causes Thunder damage to one or all enemies, and can be learned from the Esper Ramuh at a x2 rate or from Maduin at a x3 rate, or from the Thunder Shield at a x5 rate.
Bolt 2 is the second level spell of the Lightning materia, and can only be used after the materia has 2000 AP. It costs 22 MP to cast.
In the 1996 Demo release, Bolt 2 is available to Cloud from the start, and only costs 8 MP, while costing 22 MP in the final game.
Thundara is an Elemental Magic materia.

Thundara is a spell exclusive to Vivi. It only causes medium Thunder damage. Alternately, Steiner is capable of using Thunder Sword via attacking with Vivi. Vivi learns this spell from the Thunder Staff for 50 AP, and costs 12 MP to cast.
Thundara is located on Lulu's side of the Sphere Grid. It causes medium Thunder-elemental damage to one enemy and it is accessible to all playable characters.
Thundara is learned from the Black Mage Dressphere. It costs 100 AP to learn and 24 MP to cast. It can also be used if equipped with the NulShock Ring or by passing through the green and red gates in the Thunder Spawn garment grid. Thundara can also be used via Yuna's Festival-Goer Dressphere ability Thunder Geta.
Thundara can only be cast when its required license, Black Magick 3 on the License board is learned. Anyone in the party can cast this spell and it can only be bought in Eruyt Village or on Mt. Bur-Omisace. In the International version, Thundara's License is Black Magick 6 and the spell can be used by three Job classes; Black Mage, Red Mage, and Uhlan - although Uhlan must acquire the preceding Quickening License.
Thundara can be learned by the Black Mage Job for 200 JP. It costs 12 MP, and its speed is 20.
The Thunder Rod teaches Thundara to the Black Mage for 200 AP. It requires 12 MP to cast.
Black Mages learn Thundara through the Thunder Rod, while Seers learn it through the Enavia Chronicles. In both cases, Thundara needs 250 AP to be mastered and costs 14 MP.
Thundara can only be cast when fusing Thunder Magicite. You must combine two Thunder Magicites to cast this.
Thundara can only be cast by piling two Thunder spells. If the target rings are perfectly lined up, it will cast Thundara +1.
Thundara is the level 10 Lightning spell, exclusive to the Black Mage class, and caps at level 100. It deals lightning damage to two enemies, can be used twice per battle, and up to 5 times a day. It requires 2 turns to cast.
Thundara is cast by stacking two Thunder target rings.
Thundara is one of Terra's Brave attacks, which summons four strings of lightning bolts to surround and converge on the opponent.
