The Thug captain was the man who leads the group of militant thugs who comes into Eko's childhood village home to kidnap children to join their ranks. According to the Nigerian priest, they have taken many in the past. He puts a gun in young Yemi's hands and tries to force him to shoot an old man, but Yemi can't do it. Eko then takes the gun, and without hesitation, shoots and kills the man. The thug captain, amusedly addressing the boy by the title of "Mr." Eko, laughs and calls him a "born killer"; he rips off the cross from around Eko's neck and tells him that he won't need it anymore. From that day forth, Eko is kidnapped and lives a life as a criminal warlord.

Runescape

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

Thugs are relatively low level NPCs which are aggressive to ALL levels. Because of this, they're a good NPC to train on, especially since they reside in very low level wilderness, where there's a poor chance of being attacked by revenants.

Behind the scenes

Star Wars Miniatures: Bounty Hunters features 'Gamorrean Thug'. It is unclear whether this figure is meant to represent the Gamorrean named Thug, or simply a generic thug who is a Gamorrean.

The figure is depicted holding a blaster rifle, and though contrary to his appearance on screen, this may represent an appearance outside of it.

Gamorrean Thug's card Bio reads "When you need muscle for a job, a Gamorrean makes a good choice."
