Thormac is a non-player character who lives at the top of the Sorcerer's Tower south of Seers' Village. He begins the Scorpion Catcher quest. After completing the quest, he can perform a useful service for players which will change a battlestaff into a mystic staff. This service costs 40,000 coins or 27,000 if you are wearing the Seers' headband 3.

He can also be accessed by entering the West portal on the third floor of the Wizards' Guild, this unlocks an achievement in the Ardougne achievement diary, hard tasks,
