Notes

  • This story was originally broadcast as the third episode of the BBC Radio educational series Exploration Earth.
  • Although not the first Doctor Who audio drama (that distinction belongs to Doctor Who and the Pescatons), it is the first made-for-radio adventure, the next, Slipback, would not air until 1986.

Continuity

  • As with all other made-for-radio and other audio adventures, the canonicity of The Time Machine remains unclear.
