Sesame Street's Singing Food - different eyes, same great taste!

The Singing Food debuted in The Muppet Show Episode 208. This collection of anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables included a tomato, potatoes, a cabbage, a cauliflower, an asparagus, a canteloupe, a few bunches of grapes, and a pack of beans, and served as a chorus under the direction of Marvin Suggs. Variations of these food items have since appeared in The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppets: A Celebration of Thirty Years, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, and other productions. Other known food types have included the following:

• The many Sesame Street fruits and vegetables (notably featured in the song Healthy Food, and the brief introduction to the Healthy Habits for Life segment that aired before every episode of Season 36.) In contrast to the classic Singing Food, Sesame Street's Singing Food has black pupils on white eyes. The tomato and broccoli from this show appeared on Sesame English.
• Corny the Corn from Here is Your Life - Carton of Eggs
• The Dancing Cheeses from The Muppet Show Episode 422 and Muppets Tonight Episode 101.
• The Longhorn Cheddar Cheeses from Muppets Tonight episode 102
• Swiss Cheese from Muppets Tonight Episode 104
• A group called the Fly Girls -- a pineapple, an apple, a loaf of bread, a pear and a stalk of broccoli -- sang backup for Cookie Monster on "Healthy Food".
• Jar of Orange Marmalade
• Avocado
• The Sandwich
• The singing Wedding Cakes in The Muppets Take Manhattan
• Disagreeable Sandwich and other food from The Cosby Show
• Japanese Cake
• The Weatherberries from Sesame Tree
• A group of singing, dancing cookies who appear during Cookie Monster's nightmare (SSvideo)
