"The Man with the Machine Gun" is Laguna Loire's theme, from Final Fantasy VIII. Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, it is also the battle theme for the dream sequences in which Squall and the party assume the roles of Laguna, Kiros, and Ward. The title refers to Laguna's default weapon of choice. It has since been rearranged at least once as a track in a Final Fantasy spinoff.
