The King of Id is the star of the comic strip The Wizard of Id, and appeared in the eponymous 1969 pilot film. With a mop of red yarn hair and a nasal voice, the King introduces viewers to the kingdom of Id, where everybody is contented (well, almost, save The Spook). He is soon confronted by The Wizard as a "petty annoyance", and blown up (though he returns to take a bow).
