The Girl Next Door is a racy book in the world of Final Fantasy VIII and a Key Item. Zone is a fan of this book and, while on the White SeeD Ship, expresses that he wishes he hadn't sold his copy of it. If you have the magazine in your inventory, Zone asks if Squall will give it to him. If given to him for free, the player receives a Rename Card and the Shiva card for the Triple Triad game. The player can also choose to sell it to him for 25,000 gil or simply not sell it to him. This item is found in the Timber Maniacs Building Reception.
