The Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington Long Island held a special event, Muppets, Music & Magic: Jim Henson’s Legacy, on August 10th thru 12th, 2007. The weekend festival included screenings of Henson films, TV shows, and rare footage .

Screenings of rare works by Jim Henson were hosted by Craig Shemin, Heather Henson, Jane Henson, Dave Goelz (and Gonzo), Kevin Clash (and Elmo), Fran Brill (and Zoe) and others.

The center also displayed The Muppets Say Cheese exhibit from August 10th thru 20, 2007. At the Huntington Arts Council up the street from the theater, a small display featuring a Chester Rat puppet, a one-sheet poster for The Muppets Take Manhattan, storyboards for the "Rat Scat (Something's Cookin')" sequence and a promotional photo of Rizzo the Rat were among the various puppets on display.
