Thawn was the controller of the methane refinery located on Delta III. He secretly conspired with Rohm-Dutt to have the native Swampies wiped out, but the Doctor exposed these plans. When Kroll appeared, he tried to kill it with a rocket, but failed, and was killed by the Swampies when they attacked the refinery. (DW: The Power of Kroll)
