The Special Treats Weekend is an annual special event that started in 2007, coinciding with the American holiday of Thanksgiving.

Dates of events:

• November 22 - November 25, 2007
• November 26 - November 30, 2008
• November 25 - November 30, 2009

Items

During the event, the following Holiday Items are dropped by all foes in the game:

• Slice of Pumpkin Pie
• Hard Apple Cider

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated primarily in Canada and the United States, albeit in different months. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. Thanksgiving Day is also celebrated in RuneScape with a holiday event. These holiday events feature turkeys, a dish commonly served on Thanksgiving Day.

So far, there have been two Thanksgiving events, both coinciding with the holiday in the United States:
