Texas is the 28th state of the United States of America.
In the early 21st century, when the United States was divided into thirteen commonwealths, one of them was the Commonwealth of Texas, consisting of the states of Texas and Arkansas, so any mentions of Texas might refer to either the state or the commonwealth. Not much is known about the former state of Texas after the Great War, Cassidy often wondered whether Texas survived the War at all. However, Tycho is known to have gone as far as the Gulf of Mexico in Texas and then headed back west. Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel takes place in Texas and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2 should been also.
In Van Buren, it's only mentionned.
