Terry Nation with his remarkable creations.

Terry Nation (8th August 1930-9th March 1997) was a writer for Doctor Who best known as the creator of the Daleks and Blake's 7. He was born in Wales and died of emphysema in Los Angeles, California. In subsequent TV stories he has been credited as the creator of the Daleks (in on-screen credits).
