Final Fantasy Tactics

Geomancy, also known as Elemental is a Geomancer's Command ability. It is not so much affected by the surroundings rather than the actual square the character is standing on. E.G. a battle could have regular ground, bits of rock, wood, and snow in the same stage, and each of this things triggers a different attack, if the attack has been learned.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

The Elementalist's Spirit Magic function like the Terrain command, except it does not require the caster to be standing on any specific terrain square.
