The panorama of Tears' Point

Long ago, Tears' Point was determined to be the most likely place for a Lunar Cry to happen. To prevent the Crystal Pillar from summoning the Lunar Cry, the location was set up with a ground energy field that should have worked to deflect the energy field created by the Crystal Pillar, generated from the security boxes placed around the periphery of the area. Statues were erected, their purpose besides being ornamental unknown.

Later on in the game, Seifer, under the control of Ultimecia, transports the Lunatic Pandora here to perform a Lunar Cry. The energy field of the Crystal Pandora, combined with the Lunatic Pandora and the presence of Sorceress Adel, was too powerful for the Tears' Point to contain, and most of the generators cracked under pressure.

It is one of four areas on the world map that can be entered on Disk 4, along with the Tomb of the Unknown King, the Centra Ruins and the Deep Sea Research Center.

Tears' Point is located at the Great Plains of Esthar's southeastern side. On the world map, it looks like a place with 8 blue-colored structures. At the events related to the Lunatic Pandora, the enclosure would be seen floating above Tears' Point.
