Appearances: DW: The Androids of Tara

Tara is a planet resembling 19th century Earth, with lush green fields, attractive landscapes and Medieval type forests.

People

Tara was a planet colonized by Humans who chose to pattern their lifestyles on late medieval customs, with a rigid monarchical hierarchy.

The Taran nobility took pride in their scientific and mechanical ignorance, leaving such matters to the 'peasants'.

The Tarans were known as master android-makers, although the work was only carried out by the lesser orders. (DW: The Androids of Tara)

History

Centuries before the arrival of the Doctor and Romana, a plague wiped out 90% of the Tara's population.

During this time of strife, the peasants were largely abandoned by the ruling class, and manufactured large numbers of androids to cope with the labour shortage.

Tara Fields is the one casualty of the mercenary group hired by Allistair Tenpenny for an expedition into Fort Constantine. Her surprisingly well-preserved corpse can be found in the basement of the Fort Constantine Bomb Shelter. The Warhead Storage Key can be found on her along with 22 10mm Rounds and Raider Painspike Armor. Her 10mm Pistol and a Stimpak can be found next to, or under, her body.

When questioning Dukov in the quest You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head about the expedition to Fort Constantine he will reveal that he and Tara were sexually involved with each other.

Appearances

Tara only appears in Fallout 3.

Notes

If you resurrect Tara using the console she is surprisingly non-hostile despite her Raider-like appearance and will say hello to the player. However you may only reply "See you later".
