History

T-Cher, or "Teacher", was a robotic nanny from an unspecified planet occupied by a race of sentient equines. He served as an instructor and caretaker to the family of Brin while Brin was off serving as a member of the Green Lantern Corps. After a failed mission, Brin was forced to retire from the Corps and returned to his home world to be with his family. Three members of the Guardians of the Universe arrived on this world to select Brin's successor. His family assumed that either his son, Cor, or his daughter, Meri, would be the one to take up the ring, but in fact, the Guardians selected Teacher. It would not be the first time that a robot has joined the Green Lantern Corps, nor would it be the last.
