History

Synchron is one seventh of the gestalt entity known as Agatha Harkness - a deadly Hydra cloaked in the form of a human being. Though he is an aspect of the greater hive mind, Synchron can act independently and serves as one of the Hydra's seven arms. Taking human form, Synchron is a member of the superhuman team known as the Seven. When Fantastic Four member Susan Storm began to discover the true identity of the Seven, they abducted her and tried to eliminate her by casting her into the New York Harbor. Susan survived the ordeal due to the intervention of the Sub-Mariner who, along with the rest of the Fantastic Four, accompanied her to the Hydra's nesting ground in Pinhead Buttes, Oregon. There, Susan conducted an experiment that altered the Seven's molecular valences, the end result of which was a giant explosion that destroyed the Seven and the Hydra eggs.

Synchrons are a series of Tuner monsters used by Yusei Fudo and Sherry.

Most "Synchron" monsters have a corresponding "Warrior" Synchro Monster that requires it be used in the Synchro Summon and their levels go from 1 to 4 in this order: Turbo Synchron (Level 1), Nitro Synchron (Level 2), Junk Synchron and Drill Synchron (Level 3), Road Synchron (Level 4). The Synchrons who do not have Warrior counterparts, (Fleur Synchron, Hyper Synchron and Quickdraw Synchron) are Levels 2, 4 and 5, respectively. Also, every Synchron apart from Junk Synchron is a Machine-Type monster. Recently revealed Synchrons, "Change Synchron" and "Bri Synchron", have very little known about them.

Known "Synchron" Monsters are: "Junk Synchron", "Nitro Synchron", "Turbo Synchron", "Hyper Synchron", "Road Synchron", "Drill Synchron", "Quickdraw Synchron", "Fleur Synchron", "Change Synchron" and "Bri Synchron".
