The man known only as the Supreme One was the leader of a criminal organization known as O.G.R.E. While attempting to sell a secret stockpile of atomic weapons, O.G.R.E. ran afoul of Aquaman and his wife Mera. The Supreme One's underlings, Typhoon and Huntress betrayed O.G.R.E. and assisted Aquaman and Mera by leading them to the organization's secret lair beneath an island resort.
