Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen was published from October of 1954 until March of 1974, spanning a total of 163 issues. With issue #163, the title officially changed to Superman Family. Under the new format, each issue was one-hundred pages long and contained six anthology stories relating to the world of Superman. The adventures of Jimmy Olsen was presented as a back-up feature, often times crossing over with the Lois Lane vignettes. The series was eventually cancelled in 1982 with issue #222.
