Sunleth Waterscape is a nature reserve located in Cocoon in Final Fantasy XIII. Many types of rare monsters run rampant there, including edible Flans. It is maintained by a fal'Cie capable of changing the weather of the region. The rain in the area effects some creatures making them weaker in battle. This is where Sazh and Vanille go after leaving the Vile Peaks, before reaching Nautilus.

According to the web novelization Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero: Promise, this is where Hope Estheim and his friends went on a school trip.
