Cleanup please. This article or section requires a cleanup in order to meet the RuneScape Wiki's quality standards.
Reason: Random events still aren't quite accurate, as there was a multiway tie for the top spot even before the Evil Chicken was released. The release date of random events (late RS2 beta or early RS2) must be researched.
You can edit this page to improve it.

Additional notes

  • Please note that the levels of the monster are based on when the monster actually held the record. Since most players and monsters had their levels adjusted during the transition from RS1 to RS2, the levels will mostly be RuneScape Classic levels. (Therefore, avoid adjusting the levels as they are indeed correct.)
  • The Spirit Beast is not included in this list because it is not fought by conventional methods.
  • The Evil chicken CAN appear as random event, but not be fought. The Evil chicken can be randomly encountered in various chicken farms throughout the Gielinior, provoking other chickens to fight against their human masters.
