A strawberry was a variety of fruit native to planet Earth, considered a delicacy throughout the Milky Way Galaxy. Strawberries also acted as a mild narcotic to the Mizarians. Strawberries were a major crop in the equatorial region of one of the moons of the planet Shiralea. (SCE eBook: Fables of the Prime Directive)

A strawberry.

The Garden Strawberry (Fragaria ×ananassa and related cultivators) are the most common variety of strawberry cultivated worldwide. Like other species of Fragaria (strawberries), it belongs to the family Rosaceae. Technically, its fruit is known as an accessory fruit, in that the fleshy part is derived not from the plant's ovaries (achenes) but from the peg at the bottom of the bowl-shaped hypanthium that holds the ovaries.

The Garden Strawberry was first bred in Europe in the early 18th century, and represents the accidental cross of Fragaria virginiana from eastern North America, which was noted for its flavor, and Fragaria chiloensis from Chile, which was noted for its large size.

Strawberries are grown in a variety of ways, including the use of hydroponic facilities on those asteroid colonies with low gravity that grow them.[1]

Which are at their peak from spring to midsummer, are plump, red, juicy, and intensely sweet when ripe. Select unbruised, slightly soft berries with a deep color and an inviting fragrance. Store unwashed and loosely covered in a single layer on a tray or platter lined with paper towels in the refrigerator for a few days. Substitute berries frozen without syrup when fresh are not available.

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

This article is about a basket of strawberries. For individual fruit itself, see Strawberry.

A basket of strawberries can be obtained by using strawberries on an empty basket. It is one of the most potent items of food a player can hold in an inventory space. One basket can hold up to five strawberries, so one full basket could potentially heal 30 Hitpoints in 5 bites (6 Hitpoints per strawberry multiplied by 5 strawberries).

Three baskets full of strawberries is the payment for a farmer to watch over a dwellberry bush or an orange tree in the Farming skill. Many people use this as food for training Agility, as they can recover a lot of hitpoints and at 1/4 of a kilogram weigh very little.
