The
Fifth Pursuit Group was a
Federation Starfleet pursuit group based at
Starbase 10 along with the
First Pursuit Group and the
Second Pursuit Group. (

Like many pursuit groups of the late 23rd century, the Fifth Pursuit Group was comprised of 12 Scorpio-class corvettes in three flights of four ships each.
- In the FASA continuity, pursuit groups seem to be a counterpart to perimeter action groups in other continuities.
