The Stardust Rod (星くずのロッド Hoshikuzu no Roddo), also known as Stardust Staff, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally one of the most powerful rods in these games.

Final Fantasy II

The Stardust Rod is found at the Unknown Palace. It can only be equipped by Minwu, and boosts his stats greatly. When used as an item, it casts Fire IV.

Final Fantasy IV

The Stardust Rod can be equipped by Rydia and casts Comet when used as an item. It can be obtained in the Lunar Subterrane in a treasure chest, but a Behemoth must be defeated first.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

The Stardust Rod is the strongest rod in the game, providing 45 Attack, 10% Accuracy, and +10 Intelligence, as well as casting Comet when used as an item. It can be found in the Subterrane after defeating Scarmiglione.

Final Fantasy VI

The Stardust Rod is the strongest attacking rod in the game. It only appears in the Game Boy Advance remake for Final Fantasy VI, as a weapon for Strago Magus. It can be obtained in the Dragons' Den, and randomly casts Meteor when used.

Final Fantasy IX

The Stardust Rod can be stolen from Zorn and Thorn during the battle in Alexandria Castle. It teaches Ability Up, Float, and Reflect to Dagger. It is a fairly weak weapon, even for her at this early point in the game, but is her only weapon to give a Spirit boost.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

The Stardust Rod is obtained late in the game. It teaches Demi to the Time Mage and Stardust to the Illusionist.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift

The Stardust Rod makes a return in Final Fantasy Tactics A2. It teaches Stardust for Illusionists, Extend for Time Mages, and Graviga for Arcanists.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates

The Stardust Staff is a weapon for Yukes.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King

Stardust Rod is a level 25 rod that provides +25 Attack and costs 240 gil to buy.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time

Stardust Staff is a high-ranked weapon that provides 55 Attack and 82 Magic, as well as +10 to Stun. It takes 1 slot and cannot be bought.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

The Stardust Rod is a level 100 rod that grants +307 HP, +66 Attack, and +1 Defense, as well as Magic Damage +25%.
