A Spirit seed is a very rare seed that members can use to grow a spirit tree at level 83 Farming. Only one spirit tree may be planted at one time. Spirit tree seeds are untradeable.
Players can buy a spirit seed from Mrs. Winkin for 55,000 Vinesweeper points. Players who have completed Royal Trouble may occasionally receive a spirit seed from managing their kingdom (very rare). A player may receive spirit seeds from bird's nests. You may also get a spirit seed when you collect your reward from the Evil Tree (also very rare). They can also be received as a drop from vampires. You do not need to have the farming level to find a seed.
Players must first plant the seed in a plant pot containing soil, water it from a watering can, and then wait for the seedling to germinate. They must then plant the Spirit Sapling in one of the three spirit tree patches, which are located south of the castle on Etceteria, in north-east Port Sarim, and north-east Brimhaven
They look like green versions of magic tree seeds.
Note that spirit seeds can neither be sold nor bought from the Grand Exchange.
[1].
Spirit trees are always looked after by gnome farmers for 5 Monkey nuts, 1 Monkey bar, and 1 Suqah Ground tooth.
The seed cannot be planted in a plantpot using the assist system. There is no possible way of being able to grow this tree using the assist system but a player is able to plant it using farming boosts such as a garden pie.
