Spirit larupia pouch is made by using a Summoning pouch on a Summoning obelisk with 155 spirit shards, a blue charm and a larupia fur in the inventory. Making the pouch earns 501.6 experience points. Using the pouch to summon a Spirit larupia gains 5.7 experience points, and costs 6 Summoning points.

Rending scroll enables the use of the rending special move for a Spirit larupia. Using the pouch on a Summoning obelisk creates 10 scrolls.
Rending is the special move for Spirit larupias, which attacks the player's opponent with a magic attack, and also drains opponent's Strength. Activating this move will cost the player 6 special move points.
A player can be teleported to the Feldip Hunter area - Hunter area by interacting with the Spirit larupia and choosing the "Teleport" option. There is no limit to the number of teleports.
There is a glitch that makes the spirit Larupia hover in the air. This has not been fixed by Jagex and it is unknown how it happens. The most common place where the glitch takes place is the Al-Kharid duel arena.
