The South-east Ardougne mining site can be found south of East Ardougne and east of the Clock Tower near the monastery. It contains 4 coal rocks and 6 iron rocks which form a channel leading to the monastery door. The closest bank is the southern bank in Ardougne, although this is several clicks on the mini-map away. If you are using a summoning familiar (such as an Obsidian golem), the nearest summoning obelisk is next to the fight arena, which is a slight detour from the Port Khazard bank deposit box. This provides a very good alternative to the Ardougne bank. In addition, there is a farming patch nearby as well a fairy ring (Code DJP) to the east. Ardougne southern mine is a possible crash landing site for Shooting stars.

The mine can be useful for mining the resources for steel bars, as there is a furnance in East Ardougne. which form a channel leading to the monastery door.
